I'd like to offer the most sincerest of apologies for being so inactive lately. Being a teenage writer/blogger is not an easy task. You're slammed with a huge amount of homework, your work life suddenly decides to step it up a notch, you have a book to promote, and another book to write.
It's enough to drive one mad.
But I have not been driven mad thankfully. Now, I may have lost it once or twice last month due to NaNoWriMo, but I came out strong in the end! I wasn't able to hit the 50,000 word goal but I was only a few thousand off. NaNoWriMo taught me a lot mind you. I learned that I can write 1000+ words per day and survive it. I learned that if I set myself to it, I can conquer as task that appeared impossible at first. That, my friends, is a good thing to learn.
"The Seven Thrones" has done very well! If you haven't read it yet, please take the time to head over to Amazon and purchase it. The Kindle version is only $2.99. Now, as for the sequel... I am struggling to get through the last few chapter but now that Christmas Break is upon me, I will hopefully complete it within the next few weeks!
Speaking of Christmas... WE'RE ONLY SIX DAYS AWAAAYYYY. This season has just FLOWN by hasn't it? We're actually decorating our second Christmas tree this evening (that's right, our second one. We're fanatics.) and popping in "White Christmas" (which is a FANTASTIC movie by the way) We'll eat snack food and drink eggnog and just have ourselves a good old time, There's a pile of presents under our tree, Christmas music sounding from my Pandora station, and we've probably watched every Christmas movie twice (except the sacred "It's A Wonderful Life". That one can only be watched on Christmas Eve according to tradition)
So what are y'all's Christmas traditions?
