No, I'm not one of those bloggers who pours all her tales of woe out of her sixteen year old heart, begging for sympathy because her bestie is in love with the guy that SHE'S in love with so therefore she sits and wails Taylor Swift's "You Belong With Me" in her bedroom at midnight.
I'm talking about drama club. That thing where students band together to put on the twenty minute version of "Romeo and Juliet." Where students come ALIVE on stage when they're normally in the back of the classroom with their nose in a book (AKA me).
As a writer, acting comes into play in my career. I act out the scenes before I write them, coming up with the words that will make the story. It's just a way to get into the plot, to get to know my characters.
Oh yes, you've got to get to know your characters.
If you don't, the whole thing is just a disaster.
Drama helps me with this kind of thing. Not only getting to know my own characters, but others as well, which is important for future stories.
Right, so now for an update on what's going on with my book. I've had a lot of people asking when the release will be, and we're not completely sure. We're working on it, but I'm personally hoping for mid October. No promises though. At the moment, my dad is working on an official author's page for me, and after that's done, we're sending the book to the formatters which really shouldn't take more then a few days. Then we publish! So there's only a few more steps between my dream and I (which is completely exhilarating) and again, thank everyone so much for all this support! It's kept all of us going. I cannot wait for you to read "The Seven Thrones."
Until Next Time!
